Boring boy band with an awful inane song gets usurped by Big Sis who, with awful lyrics but okay sound, exemplifies A STAR IS BORN and promptly goes the Prehistoric Sound Machine route to Big Sis and Prehistoric Sound Machine to Big Sis & some other folks, stepping on all her friends to get there. Cavegirl will have none of that. Her "She-Dog" number is kinda cute as she does the Baby Spice thing, only to renounce idolatry immediately afterwards to give a life lesson re the value of friends.

Very loosely directed. In a sloppy way filmed and edited, you have to see it to know what I mean, like painting by the numbers, but it's saving grace is that it is actually likable. Lucinda Rhodes-Flaherty is an excellent Big Yum, I mean, Big Sis, with eyes like jewels (but for crying out loud, what stupid names, all these girls are cavegirls, so why would the one be called that? and Big Sis would only be Big Sis to her two younger siblings) and Stacey Cadman, who sure looks and acts like a 14-year-old, in the title role, wins you over against all the odds.

For children of all ages. Too good... oops, scrap that.. too cute to be wasted on the toddler audience really.
