An original TV pilot that presents some good questions.

This attempt at a new comic yet serious TV franchise was well done. I would hope that in time someone with some influence takes a good look at this and sees the cutting edge possibilities.

The story takes place in a bar and the owner has several unique and slightly off-the-wall friends and patrons. The setting affords endless themes for development. The acting is more than adequate and the camera work is excellent. The sound is quite good, the lighting effective, and story line interesting.

The story line and the theme are united around a question of personal perception and social acceptance. What qualities does a person have to have to be a friend? "Simple" you say? Not in this somewhat dramatic presentation. Sit back for some good music, some bizarre songs (one had only one word), and memorable characters. There are also some lessons here. You aren't preached at, and that is refreshing, but you will have to examine some of your own soul to appreciate what the writers are trying to do. They lead you to the water, but you will have to drink. There's even a little bit of magic (literally) and the variety of this work will make you smile.
