I love Will's Enthusiasm
machellechandler23 June 2022
As a life-long Trekkie, I enjoy Will's unabashed enthusiasm. It validates my own love for the series. It's fun to re-hash the episode and hear from the actors.

New episode means new Ready Room and that means bonus Trek for your week! It's just a delight to watch Will 's interviews and sneak pics. He's such a great host and fan.

A wonderful show, with a wonderful Host!

Though Naomi Kyle was great, you couldn't find a better fit than Wil Wheaton. He's so perfect for the role. It often doesn't feel like a talk show, more like old friends getting together to have fun. Wil's various interviews of Patrick Stweart & Jonathan Frakes are so heartful and it feels like a grown son speaking to his elderly fathers.

The perfect nerd host for the Star Trek franchise
dmkalman21 April 2023
Wil Wheaton is perfect as The Ready Room host because his enthusiasm and his knowledge are real. Whether you loved or hated the Wesley Crusher character, Wil was a significant part of Next Gen, and through all of his personal ups and downs, he remained connected to his cast mates and to the franchise. While he didn't land a significant role in this latest Star Trek iteration, he managed to land as much total screen time as several of his former colleagues while making an important contribution to the community.

All that said, I'm hoping for the very long-awaited continuation of Star Trek: Assignment Earth, featuring Supervisor Wesley Crusher and Kore Soong. Make it so.

Don't miss this!

Wil Wheaton not only knows Trek from the inside, as an actor, but is probably the World's Biggest Nerd Fan. He's fun, hilarious and enthusiastic. This whole show is a cross between getting a backstage pass and hanging out with your favorite fannish buddies. Great interviews and insights. Picard was Serious Trek, so it was great to see a lighthearted approach to the behind the scenes goodies, what it was like to make the show, and the kinds of crazy creativity that happens on set.

We have the future
mragaebler24 December 2022
To any one in Star Trek,

We have your next series but no one is listening! It follows the cannon and will take Star Trek to the next level and beyond. For a long time, nearly a decade, we have painstakingly assembled a new Star Trek Series based on the canon timeline. We have a complete series bible, pilot script, preliminary artwork, character briefs, designs and more. We are looking for someone in the industry who would take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as we are still on the outside. We own copy written material, but we can't get anyone connected with Star trek to respond. Anyone who takes this on will share in it. It may sound far-fetched but not to people like us, people with vision and the tenacity not to give up - and we won't. Anyone interested contact us We can arrange a Skype at that time. We will be waiting.

Thank you.

Great interviews, BUT!!!
bailrecovery13 March 2022
Will, I do enjoy most all of the discussion topics you cover. But I have a difficult time trying to watch while having to see the forced & over the top enthusiasm thats exhibited. I feel like I'm watching a show meant for children. Wish you would tone it down some. Sorry!!

Wil just needs to shut up!
ericm201015 March 2022
This show could be SO MUCH BETTER!

We want to hear from the actors and other guests, not Wil Wheaton. As a host, you (Wil) do WAY TOO MUCH TALKING. Each segment is eaten up by your over acted joy and dissertation of a question that by the time the actor or other guest gets to answer, they have like 20 seconds.

Take a page from Late Night Hosts and quickly ask a question...then shut up! We don't want to hear about you or your decades old stories from your short time on TNG.

You're totally the wrong person for this hosting role. It should have been Terry Farrell. She was killed off in DS9 (for the wrong reason) and likely no way to bring her back...so, a perfect way to fix a wrong as well engage with a fan favorite that had a substantial role in Star Trek. She's also an experienced actress with a measured voice and tone that knows not to talk over the guests on a program.

Much Ado About Wil
rmoulton196425 June 2022
Are you sure this shouldn't be named the "Wil Wheaton Interjects Himself Into Everything and Tries to Remain Relevant Show"? I'm sick of him constantly making everything about himself. He talks too much and the guests can't get a word in edgewise. He's just so jealous that his acting career was never that great. Sorry, but this needs a new host that knows how to listen.

It's The Wil Weaton Show
k-strauch29 July 2023
Each episode is all about Wil Weaton vacillating between fanboy and bragging about his days on Star Trek. He often interrupts or dominates the conversations talking about himself more than interviewing. It's exhausting. During interviews he often interrupts to interject how his experiences were when on Star Trek The Next Generation. It seems like he is trying to compete with current characters to be seen as equal or cooler than they are. He projects himself as a Star Trek Legend when he was just a supporting character. I feel for him and his childhood, but it is exhausting hearing him monologue about his accomplishments.
