Terrible
lukepauls3 January 2021
The hosts were distracting and just generally bad at directing attention towards the show's guests, needless to say they were unbelievably unfunny

Does not work during a pandemic era , David Spade is no Johnathan Ross either.

Great Concept. Bad execution.
jelamsb8 February 2021
The panel doesn't quite fit well in itself. It feels awkward all through. The concept of such a show is great honestly. But the cast, delivery, jokes are sub par. Doesn't feel like a good use of resources.

Cringe worthy
Debank-dc5 January 2021
I watched this only because the cast of Cobra Kai were in it. But I could feel only anger and cringe at how the stars of Cobra Kai were treated. They seems as if they are present just to fill the guest seats. The host seemed as if he is star of the show himself. Overall, it was really cringeworthy.

Disaster
watf-711441 January 2021
The idea of this show is great and they have the opportunity to reach many beloved shows .Fortune Feimster is poor but she is still light years ahead of the other panel members. I think David Spade, thought this was a show about him, using every segment to promote himself rather than the shows/people he was supposed to be interviewing. Lastly and worse off all is London Hughes. She spent the whole show nosily interupting ppl to explain how she was Black and British. Apparently if you say this loudly and step on everyone elses lines it counts as humour. She made the show unwatchable.

London Hughes is dreadful
johnmagee-566144 January 2021
I thought this was going to be ok with the Cobra Kai cast and bill Burr but my goodness was I wrong....and jeepers whose idea was it to have London Hughes anywhere near this show. Absolutely dreadful.

Terrible hosts
jponteaarc4 January 2021
They couldn't find a better host than these three? David spade is annoying, Hughes is not funny and the other one I just don't understand how they even thought she would be a good idea.

Such a disappointment
swierda5 January 2021
After watching Cobra Kai season 3, it was nice not to let go of the characters and have them being interviewed for a bit. Except this was very close to unwatchable. Three hosts who might be talented, but those talents lie in different fields. They tell -clearly scripted- jokes at a disturbingly low pace, ask questions one by one for reasons which are not clear and make the show generally uncomfortable and weird. I have to be honest, I had to switch it off because it is more fun to write this review (or do my tax return, for that matter). So I never got to the explanation as to why there were three hosts present but the biggest stars of the shows were asked to call in, causing even worse chemistry.

I love Netflix, Cobra Kai was one of the best shows ever with an outright fantastic cast, but this mistake of a show demonstrated that even that combination can lead to something horrible.

David Spade so funny

DITCH London Hughes. Fortune comical. Hughes has to go. She's odd man out, doesn't make the conversations flow. I'm sorry but this isn't for her.

Painful to watch
skylaroconnor5 January 2021
This show was hard to watch. Awkward hosts, not funny jokes, and poor treatment of the guests. The hosts have no chemistry. The jokes were borderline offensive at times and the hosts were busy taking jabs at each other the whole time. The guests seemed like the sideshow for the hosts. Overall a poor experience and would not recommend it to anyone.

Love this show!

Warning: Spoilers
As a huge fan of David Spade, I obviously couldn't wait to watch this. And I love it, I like the idea of talking to people from other Netflix shows, plus the little extras like games, skits, and jokes or "afterthoughts" really make it! Great job to all 3 hosts (especially David!) 😉

They owe the Cobra Kai guests an apology
elvi2311-15 January 2021
The three hosts were terrible. The guests were neglected for the most part. The jokes were not funny and offensive many times. What a waste of time, not just for viewers, but for the Cobra Kai guests. So many things they could have shared about Cobra Kai, which is why I watched it, and such a horrible show the hosts put up. Spade looked bitter, self-centred and his jokes were not funny. The other two hosts were annoying and too much making it all about themselves. I feel they owe an apology to the Cobra Kai guests..

Awful
seshni-fotherby25 January 2021
This show is awful, i'm watching the afterparty for bridgerton. The hosts are not funny at all and only talk about themselves when the guests just sit there listening. Absolutely unbelievable, I thought I'd get some insight into the cast of bridgerton or even behind the scenes info but whenever one of the cast would start talking the hosts would just divert the attention to themselves. It's honestly embarrassing.

Even David Spade couldn't save this stinker.
FrightFanatic00120 December 2020
Ouch. This was painful. Netflix clearly put identity politics were front and center casting the hosts and while David Spade and Fortune Feimster were funny as always... who is London Hughes? She was PAINFUL. Seemed like she was in her own world and was trying so hard to land her own jokes the whole time that she wasn't listening or playing off the others hosts. Spade looked full of regret the whole time and was just going through the motions. Could have been something but they need to replace London Hughes . No chemistry.

1/10. Yes it was that bad.

5/10 if London Hughes lines were all cut.

Yikes! This was BAD, I mean REALLY BAD!
b_e_x-334546 January 2021
This came up immediately after the last episode of Season 3 of Cobra Kai and it promised to be a comedy talk show with guests from the show Cobra Kai, so I was thought this was going to be great as there were so many interesting questions and fun things to find out about the making of the series and how it came about and what the actors thought of their characters and the storylines etc.

Instead what we got was the most painful, cringe worthy TV that I have ever watched. The hosts were TERRIBLE! They were not funny and every attempt at a joke was awkward and embarrassing. The cast weren't relaxed because the hosts were doing such a terrible job and the interviews were stilted and disjointed. I felt uncomfortable watching it. I ended up having to turn it off half way through.

Definitely don't bother!

GET RID OF LONDON HUGHES!
sarajbrown-0484022 January 2021
I love everything David Spade does. He's hilarious. Fortune is great. Her timing is good, she doesn't interrupt, her jokes are always on. What's with that mess London?? I won't watch the show anymore as long as she's on it. She interrupts the other 2 hosts, the guests, her jokes don't land, she's loud and too crass. When she speaks I cringe.

The worst thing on Netflix
californiapersian29 January 2021
I couldn't watch this all the way through. This is NOT for fans of the show or even a good way to encourage viewers. It felt like the hosts were all practicing their standup routines and Bridgerton was the front row comedy club guest. Is there room for comedy in the commentary and conversation? -Absolutely. But this was not about the show but just a poor man's comedy roast. Such Brilliant actors and new faces I would've liked to get to know more but that was overshadowed by the hosts "comedy" routine. Honestly, I would've rather watched an hours of dad jokes being read out loud than this. Clearly, the hosts never watched the show either. At one point David Spade makes the comment that not once in Bridgerton is race mentioned. But is is mentioned. In a scene between the Duke and Lady Danbury. But I suppose there was no joke to be made in the actual plot of the show. All out disappointed. Netflix missed the mark big.

Excellent idea and I love seeing David Spade hosting, he's doing a fantastic job as well as Fortune Feimster but the other chic London Hughes is just annoying.

Pathetic
MikeHunt10754 February 2021
Well, I bet David Spade is crying in his dressing room before hosting this and regretting Joe Dirt 2 while crossing his fingers Adam Sandler will start writing decent movies again for him to be part of, rather than have to pretend hosting this pitiful thing is enjoyable. Added on the side are two morons who are just happy to be paid for something as they stupidly smile, claim theyre big fans of the guests and contribute nothing valuable to society.

This show does for celebrity interviews what Bill Murray's Xmas special did for nostalgic 90 year olds craving the good ole days. Filled with fake laughter, forced smiles, and a see right through you/kill me now front, this show has got to be the dumbest and most forced and out of touch with reality show not seen as a Disney produced show aimed at preteens. Even if they cut out the cussing, 12 year olds wouldn't care what these people have to say about the shows or themselves.

A simple run down of how this dribble works.

Open with a god awful sketch a monkey could write better. Introduce yourselves like anyone actually cares. Bring on a couple of nobodies from a show on Netflix and then introduce the actual stars via a zoom call, because you couldn't pay them enough to actually be there. Then have your idiotic sidekicks say "I watched the series. It was great. I'm a big fan. How'd it feel kissing..." Oh, SHUT UP. Are you 12? Who is this aimed at? Who is it's demographic audience? They cuss like it's for adults, and ask stupid things a 10 year old would ask to a bunch of "celebrities" they've been told are "celebrities" but have no clue who these "celebrities" actually are, so they just ask dumb stuff instead. Or, if they know one of them, they ask that celeb about the role they played in something else, showing ignorance that they've never even watched the show they're in now or rudely ignore the other guests to rant on one in particular from previous years about a totally unrelated role.

Its painfull to watch and down right pathetic. This could be the end of Spades career right here if Sandler can't throw him a rope soon enough... tho the way Sandlers going he will probably just fall in with Spade here and they'll both end up hosting this show.

Fast Forward is your Friend
steph-eyespy6 January 2021
I wanted to like this, as I like Fortune Feimster and David Spade. Usually they are really funny! Ugh...not this time. The other girl, I can't even remember her name anymore..something Hughes? Laurie? Lauren? Lisa? Whoever she is, she was obnoxious. I'd ne er heard of her, but she had amature written all over her face with how she interrupted, yelled over guests and other hosts, shoved her British card about like it was the thing to be impressed over. She was like a 5 yr old hyped up on sugar. David Spade had cringe worthy jokes that fell flat. It felt like watching an insiders joke party constantly going on and you had no clue what they were meant to be laughing about. It was worth fast forwarding to the actual interviews and then skipping all the awkward couch talk, skits, and bad roasts/joke exchanges. I almost wished I'd not even bothered watching at all. It's darn near a total waste of your time, to be entirely honest.

Really...really awful
christanmurillo27 January 2021
The concept is really nice however the focus seems to be more and on the hosts and their futile attempts at making jokes rather than the guests from the TV show. Echoing another review, the actors from the show, you know the reason we all actually pressed play on the Afterparty, "They seem as if they are present just to fill the guest seats." The hosts don't even let the guests answer their questions. I felt awkward for the actors, it seemed like a huge waste of their time. Netflix can do better than this. Get some hosts that actually care to get inside info from the show and have content the viewers want to hear.

Terrible
mcmedinap24 January 2021
Cringe worthy. Feel sorry for the actors for having to endure this embarrassment. London Hughes is NOT funny. She is incapable of asking a direct question, as she tries to answer herself. David Spade seemed like he just needed the pay check but would rather be anywhere else. And the other girl, I forgot her name- she's just okay. The hosts made it too much about themselves and were rude to guests. What passed as humour was actually just crass and immature. Honestly, one of the worst talk shows I've seen in my life.
