Innovative form of satirical comedy
hooraychining7 February 2019
Known as the "Peace of Chinese Costumes Comedy", this TV series features imitation, satire and criticism of today's social phenomena through the daily stories of an ancient inn. The overall style is ridiculous and ironic.

For the first time, this TV series was handed over to the ancient plots with popular online buzzwords and various modern hot events. The bold attempts of the writers and directors gave the audience a refreshing experience, which was well received by the young Chinese audience, except for the conservative audience. Because of the large number of dialects used in the play, this is also a reason why viewers outside mainland China have difficulty understanding the effects of their comedy.

The entire TV series is full of positive energy and innovative.

A wonderful popular comedy

Every character, from name to martial arts, to faction, is full of homage. The story is humorous and instructive, but not rigid and grounded. The actors perform excellently!

Like such a effortless episode, not xiao spend a special time to appreciate, each suspense is more than 30 minutes. 80 episodes, an episode so warm to see down, as if watching a period of emotion slowly breed growth, rooting germination, the generation of a blood and flesh of the years, sad and happy, almost when true; Good hope that the story of the Foo Inn will never come to an end.

An old but contemporary drama
o-611624 December 2023
It's my favorite drama, but I watched it a lot. The story is fun, but it fits well with the development of this society. And in China, it's always a hot topic because it goes well with the issue. The characters' personalities and characters in the drama always touch ourselves and the people around us and seem to see their shadows again. This drama has become a must-have food taste syndrome for me, who brings it whenever I eat while I'm in college and watches it over and over again! Anyway, it would be great if you could find it when you have time, some episodes of the play are still very popular until now. Lastly, please praise Ning Cai Shen, the author of the play, for writing the play really well!
