I thought the plot line was promising, but could have been executed a lot better through more believable acting and better film quality. I think the storyline was there, but could have been more interesting if it had a better script. I know that we did not watch the entire movie I class, so I cannot give a full, descriptive review, but I thought that the music that was going on in the background made it a bit difficult at times to hear what some of the actors were saying. I think that the film had opportunities to go a lot deeper at times, but did not take the chance to do so. I think it did address some good topics though.

The scenes were thought out, well, but felt very awkward with how the lines were delivered. There were too many instances where the actors would start out a scene with silence and take a moment to start speaking their lines. The scenes would go on, too long with these moments of silences. Some of the actors could've done better with how they moved. Sometimes the movement would look really stiff, and awkward. Not only can the actors' motions be awkward, but the camera shots could've had less empty space in the scenes. The scenes were also missing the importance of audio management. The voice lines can be hard to hear at times.

My initial reaction to the film is that it is definitely not a high budget film. The male actor gave his lines very well, I could feel his emotion through what he was saying and how he felt about the topic. On the other hand the female actress lacked a bit of emotion and felt flat with delivering her lines. I understand she was a last minute stand in for a recast but they should've taught her some acting skills so she could portray her role to her best capability and give a great performance. I did only watch a short clip from the movie so maybe she does better later on. If her performance was better the rating might've been a bit higher.

The film was an interesting film. I feel like they were trying to get a specific point across like a lesson or message across but with the acting it didnt feel real because you could tell it was fake. I do not really have a complete understanding what the short film was about but i am also barely awake right now so I guess that makes sense. The only thing I got from this is that the man did seem really hurt and betrayed by the women character because she never told him who she was and what she did effected his own career but he also seemed like he was getting to know and care for this person but feels likes he doesnt even know her.

I thought this was an interesting section that showed a cop being betrayed by the women he loves. Not only is she not who she says she is but has a haunting past that finally catches up to her. Within the short clip watched, the cast that is portraying the characters seem to have great potential in representing how fast things can go from zero to sixty. I believe from the short clip watched that this movie has great potential. In the end, sometimes obstacles that are interacted within the world are almost always not what they seem to be. Which is why it is important to always to take a moment and step back with everything in life to make an accurate assumption.

I think that the perspective of this being not only a love triangle but a cop vs vigilante storyline.
I appreciate the anger from both sides that is both for justified reasons. This makes the storyline split and more interesting.
I agree with Zach vs Kenady because he is just trying to solve his case without emotional and literal interference. She knew too much about said case to not be involved and this probably left him wondering if she was really worth her time. I feel for him in the draining situation and his closeness to the case.
Recommended watching the full movie to understand better, good watch and interesting indie film.

Framing and acting was cheesy

I personally feel that the acting in the movie was way too forced. I could tell that a lot of the scenes were completely forced and did not flow well. On top of it all the cinematography was shaky and un even in some scenes. I feel they tried to shake the camera a little bit to give the scene some extra dramatic but it didn't work. The fact that I couldn't hear much background noise was also some thing that I think is something that is impossible to not have. The scenes felt awkward even when they weren't meant to be which gave it the feeling of an unfinished rushed movie. All in all the story ling had potential but definitely didn't execute it well.

I only saw a few scenes from this film. The first scene where a woman steals a gun from the 3 men. The second was when a woman claims to love one of those men and apologize for her mistakes. The first scene seemed funny because I had no context for everyone pointing guns at one another and they simply let the girl leave. Second, I found myself laughing again because the male actor was mad at the woman for her apology and she did not seem to react that dramatically to have been turned down by the man she claims to love.
I thought it was interesting to watch a film that demonstrated code switching. It was also evident that the producer was using different symbolism to distinguish good vs evil. This was simply demonstrated even through their names. Solomon chose to stay true to his ethics and quit his job. Whereas Tronic a white business man appears as evil and selfish.
Overall I thought the film was beneficial for learning purposes. I did not find it entertaining. It was educational and helpful to analyze the Black and White culture.

I only watched about three minutes of this movie and what I can say about the movie is that I feel the detective was in the right. The women was expecting a lot from the detective, she was expecting him to understand her and he couldn't. I would watch the whole movie just to see how it ends. The director did a great job on making this movie and finding good actors for the movie. The script is good as well. I would love to see the rest of the movie and actually sit down and study it for what it is. I would also love to watch the first noxious and see the whole story line. I am excited to see how the movies turn out.

I LOVED this movie. It has Action and its very funny! I had no idea that it was a faith based movie until the very end. The characters kept it too real and the soundtrack was awesome. I give it 10 stars!

My thoughts about this is that I can tell he was hurt. That he did not know how to react to what was happening in that situation. The way he reacted was out of reflex and was not thinking much about it at all. Some things could have been done better in it. Like the acting it could have been a bit better than it was. It also was not that exciting to me to watch, so I did not understand at first until we talked about in class. I did however understand it after and got the point of it. It did end up making sense and thinking of it I can see it now. Overall it did have good point to it, but it could have been more exciting.

I'd like to preface that I only watched a short 3 minute clip of the film, however from what I did see the plot seemed a bit predictable and cliché. From what I picked up it was the standard, "I love you but you don't know my past so I am scared to open up to you" story. I did however find the acting to be good, particularly that of the male police officers who seemed genuine and really brought me into the story. In the opening scene of the clip I was shown, three men are holding each other at gunpoint, however the scene seemed a bit rushed and thus didn't have the same emotional impact I feel it was meant to. This is why I'm giving the film (the 3 minutes of it I watched) 4/10.

To be completely honest, the acting was not great. You could tell that they were trying to act and the costuming was subpar as well. I totally get that as a cop you would be justifiably upset if your girlfriend turned out to be a vigalante; and as a person the frustration felt when someone is not who they said they were to begin with. However; this goes against almost every cop and hero show or movie to ever exist; typically because the hero is helping the town by taking down the "bad guys" they can come to an understanding. This movie- or at least the portion I watched- threw that out that aspect which I typically love.

The plot seemed very interesting, but the acting made me loss interest in the film. I get bored whenever the acting is not that good. The script and the film didn't match well, and I don't think the actors really had chemistry. I was a little confused with the scene we watched probably because I didn't see the first one. I think it does portray black culture this day and how it feels to be betrayed. I think he acted how all humans would react when they find out they are betrayed. I definitely think if the acting was better and the script was better I would probably watch the rest of this movie.

From what I saw, the storyline had potential but it seemed like the acting was just uninvolved. The main actress seemed extremely detached from the role, and showed basically no emotion, which didn't match with her lines. In theory she was supposed to be pouring her heart out and confessing her love, but it seemed more like she was reading her lines directly off her script, extremely monotoned. It took away from the performance of the main actor, who did better and really showed emotion. In the short clip that we watched, it was obviously difficult to tell what was going on in the plot, but I was able to roughly figure out what was going on.

I think that the movie had very cringe acting and was not able to fully capture my attention because of that. The story line was somewhat interesting because of the relationship between Zach and the vigilante woman. I believe that Zach was justified to be upset with her because she completely betrayed him and went behind his back. Some may say he was a bit harsh to slam the door in her face, however I saw it was deserved. She was trying to appeal to pathos and make him feel bad for her. However Zach was not falling for her trap. Overall, she is a murderer and criminal therefore I disagree with her.

The movie had a good story line and message. Actors were passionate but have room for improvement. It was overall a very interesting movie. I agree with the cop because I think he was justified in his actions. After only watching a short clip I wish I had more information about the movie to make a more clear review. However, she was a murderer so she deserved to go to jail and he should have arrested her on the spot. When she showed up at the door he should have not given her the time of day and immediately arrested her. He could not love her anymore because of her betrayal and lying to him...

The movie concept has potential, but the acting was poor. The directing and quality of the movie was lacking professionalism. The movie definitely should be reviewed and try to emphasize the difference in culture in a different way. I think that the communication examples were not great examples, there could have been better ways to demonstrate intercultural communications. Code-switching as well, I think the movie overall was ineffective and did not deliver the message. The choice of demonstrating a white man and black man were stereotypical, I think that the director could have taken more time to be more creative with the dialogue.

I only watched a few minutes of this film and it was a bit hard to follow. The filming was lagging a bit and framing was off in most scenes. I thought the film had a good story line from what I've read and would love to watch it at some point. This was an interesting film to watch and learn about. The film producer is an intelligent and knowledgeable teacher. There are defiantly some things that could be shifted to make it more engaging and some of the sound was hard to hear because of the quality. Defiantly worth a watch, but its nothing spectacular. This film was displays the reaction in anger of being lied to.

I only saw about 3 minutes of the movie in a class but what i saw seemed to be intriguing and i am interested in watching more. The man seemed to have a right to be mad at the woman because it seemed like she had been lying to him. I do not really know what else to say because this is just for a class but this website requires a crazy amount of characters so I'm just going to keep typing things until I meet that ridiculous character requirement. Im not quite there yet but I am just going to keep saying things until i get there. The movie was a movie, the actors are acting. And i have finally met the requirement.

Honestly I do feel it was a decent movie clip for a start up production company. The acting was a little iffy at times but overall the actor and actress held my interest and got their emotions across well. The actor and actress seemed passionate about their role. Regardless of how much experience they have in the acting world, the emotion and confidence they had shined through. I feel that the guy did have a right to be upset with the girl, however I do see both sides. Overall, after watching this clip I was intrigued. I am confident that if I watched this full movie It would likely hold my attention.

I felt that man number one was too harsh to woman number one. I did not fully understand what was going on but I did notice some gunfire, honestly not too impressed with these second rate performances. Unfortunately from the five minutes I have watched. I am going to give this film a 2/10 stars. Kinda cringe. Pretty mid tbh. The rollercoaster of emotions that made me feel sick to my stomach more than the cold oatmeal I have every morning. Cinnamon and sugar is the best one but I ran out yesterday. Which reminds me, I need to go to the CVS to buy fruity pebbles. How I could forget such a crucial meal. Well that's a mystery I'll have to solve soon. Call me Fred, no Flinstone. Let me call up my dog, no scooby doo.

I only watched a little bit of this movie because I was in class so we only watched about three minutes. It was good from what I saw but I think I need to watch way more in order to give a good. I am not sure what the whole storyline is but I am sure it is really good. I think the acting was so good though in the part that I saw and I thought that the script was really creative and interesting. I definitely need to go back and watch the rest of the movie. I am very impressed with the three minutes I saw and I think the actors were really impressive as well in this film. I thought it was produced very well and I will watch it later!
