How did this sitcom even get on the air?! Even after all these years I see episodes of it and squirm at how bad it is.
The sad thing is it's got two naturally funny men in the lead roles. Roger Lloyd Pack excelled in sitcoms, and had a perfect feed in the form of Clive Swift. Even Jane Asher should've added something.
It was trying to be 'The Odd Couple'. It failed miserably. Lots of obvious jokes, lots of strained dialogue that the studio audience apparently found hilarious.
I gave this show a second chance. How the BBC gave it one chance is beyond me.
