Gossipy and obfuscating

Jiah Khan grew up in London, briefly became a star in the Bombay movie industry, struggled with depression and then died. Her family thinks it was murder; a curious charge of "abetting suicide" hangs over her last lover. 'Death in Bollwood' takes a look at her life and death. Unfortunately, it covers the gossip-riven world of Bollywood itself in a very gossipy way. Everything we hear is tittle-tattle, rumour and heresay; regardless of whether the police investigation did a good job or not, this case would have been wrapped up years ago if its protagonists had lacked the money to pursue it to the ends of the earth. The series might have been a better story had it told the story of Khan's life chronologically, ending with what is known about her sad ending, instead of being constructed as a mystery about which it delivers much speculation and ultimately no solutions.

There were a lot of things I never knew about which is shown in this documentary around the death of actress jiah khan. Jiahs mother is still fighting to get justice for her but with the amount of tampering that has been done by the officials who were dealing with the case its very unlikely rabia will get the justice for jiah with how current the justice system is in India. Overall the documentary was interesting to watch.
