Warning: Spoilers
This film is extremely well thought out and put together. I think the score works beautifully and the location shooting is excellent. As with most short films I do want to see more of the story. It is difficult sometimes to say everything that you want to say in the course of a 23 minute film. That being said, I found it to be very well done. My only minor critique is that occasionally the dialog seemed a bit clunky which made it difficult for the actors to look completely comfortable. A small matter but just an observation. The other thing about this film is finding it difficult to believe that anyone would cheat on Jennie Grunseth. :) Well done Mike and company! You obviously have a great passion for film making and have the drive to see your vision through to its completion. Can't wait for more!

Solid. Evocative.

A good short film. Thoughtful but not manipulative. Allows the viewer to work through the evaluative process on their own, rather than leading them by the nose. Great potential applications on several levels. This is a film with a point, but the point isn't foisted on the viewer. The atmosphere works well with the plot. Acting is OK; not Academy Award level, but it gets the job done. The male lead could be a bit stronger, and his interpretations not quite so forced or clichéd. The cinematography is pleasing; good transitions, well-framed. The overall effect works for me. I'm going to see more of Mikel's work, as the result of viewing this film.

Effective piece

With the exception of a good and fairly consistent performance by Jennie Sophia, the acting was a bit stiff at times. Despite this and slow pacing that might have been better offset by less clichéd physical acting, the story held my attention and made me want to see every turn of the plot. The dialogue, well-written and believable, also helped to add some depth to the performances. Strong editing, particularly with regard to the carefully timed and placed unfolding of events, went far in successfully presenting this thought-provoking and very human tale. While certainly a complete concept in and of itself, it leaves enough questions to warrant further development toward a longer piece.

I'd like to see more from this team. Well done.

Interesting.

I really enjoyed the short. A beautifully shot, well acted short that showcased some interesting ideas and Wislers sense of moral righteousness that seems to web itself into his films.

Still I would like to see the filmmakers try their hand at something larger and longer, their expertise with their shorts makes me think perhaps they have outgrown the shorts and need to be given to work with.

Well acted, I was very impressed with Jennie Sophia and would love to see her as more of a central character. Andrew Gilbert also did a good job as his character, but I wished it could have been longer so we might have delved more into why he was saving them exactly.

By far their most beautiful film, every moment in it was something one would want to frame on their wall.

Out of five stars I would give it anywhere from 3 1/2-4.
