I had the opportunity to see this French short at a film festival and loved it! The suspense is amazing and it grabbed me from the beginning to the end. The production value was fantastic and the acting was very good. It is obvious that the screenwriter/director enjoys this film genre and knows how to take the audience exactly where she wants it to go. This short mixes two genres in a smart and effective manner. The dialogs were well-written and the music played quite a vital part in the movie. Compared to all the other shorts that were included in the program (oftentimes very amateurish videos), this short appeared to be so professionally produced)and when it ended, many people in the theater would have loved to see more of it. I hope this film can become a feature. Sylvie Benavides is quite a talented in storytelling and filmmaking!

I was surprised by the quality and depth of this short film. The director was able to develop a great deal of mystery in suspense in a short time. The editing was seamless and did not draw undue attention, while the cinematography served the director's vision very effectively to create suspense.. I wanted to keep watching to find out what would happen. She showed a good command of story telling both in the written and visual form. Though the music was spare, it was perfect for the mood and tension in the film. The sound quality was excellent. The actors were well directed and pace and intensity of the film were right on target. This director showed the promise of a young Alfred Hitchcock. I look forward to seeing more work from this filmmaker in the future.
