This film deserves an award!!

This is a stunning piece of work by a fan of BoC for fans and those interested in the somewhat elusive Scottish duo. The style and feel of this film interweaves perfectly with the nostalgic and grainy melancholy the band portrays as if BoC were on hand to advise. You can tell this was a labour of love from the outset with relentless attention to detail. This film in my view is award-winning and rightly accolade deserving. Mike and Marcos would be proud (I've no doubt they've seen this) Bravo๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Quite simply the best film there is on the Boards of Canada

You can tell this film was a labour of love for it's maker. It's style and pace run parallel to that of BOC's music, so yeah it's pretty much just pure awesomeness. I like to believe that Michael and Marcus approve of this film.

Best viewed alone, in a dark room, and with headphones on.

Very good documentary!
I found this documentary while I was ill with COVID and possibly the Flu and this film helped me get through it. It's a good look into the career of Boards of Canada, an electronic act I hold as an inspiration for my own work. This movie does a great job at telling you the history of BoC without it overwhelming you. It has the same feel as BoC's music, slow and steady, and it features a ton of music from BoC, even music from pre-1998 (or pre-MHTRTC), including some of the unreleased stuff. Honestly if enough people watched it and it was nominated for a Oscar for best documentary and I was one of the voters, I would vote in favor of this film, it's really good. Best watched in a dark environment, isolated from people.

The best and most in depth band documentary i have seen in a long time

This is an absolutely must watch for not only Boards Of Canada fans, but for IDM fans in general and maybe people who love music in general as it dives deep in to how the mysterious and absolutely genious duo. At first i thought having it be no commentary and only text would be too much, but it was the perfect blend of text and visual imagery combined with music from the band so people who are not that familiar with them can hear the music as they watch it. As someone else on here said, this should win an award and it would be sick to see Boards Of Canada themselves or atleast Warp Records shout out this masterpiece.
