Great start

A great start to the series. Set up the cultural climate at the time of the crimes, as well as good background information on the detectives. The visual interpretations of the crimes are stark, a nice blend of archival photos and re-enactments.

A little slow initially, but overall, very good.

Two Detectives end up working together, and piece together various crimes, and begin a hunt for what they believe to be a serial killer.

It's funny, I tried watching this a few weeks back, I'd seen the first fifteen minutes or so, and couldn't get into it, I was told I should give it another try, and I'm glad I did.

The first twenty minutes aren't great, it's padded out, but as it develops, it becomes an intense documentary, one I really did enjoy.

Quite graphic, quite visual, not much detail about the killer yet, more focus on the crimes.

Good start, 8/10.

Night Stalker strikes

Warning: Spoilers
The survivor girl that was kidnapped and assaulted and then the night stalker let her go. Her story was very intense and it was very obvious she's still dealing with the trauma it caused. The night stalker kidnaps kids and assaults them, murders grown-ups and rapes women. Gil the Mexican detective found the connection between those seemingly unrelated crimes with mainly a footprint in several different crime scenes adn he was paired up with Frank who is a very different detective. I enjoyed it a lot and the interviews with survivors are really impressive.

Pretty average or even a little bit worse start. If you create documentary you could watch couple previous good ones. This documentary starts after 11 minutes. Whole 11 minutes you have to listen about detective's life, how he managed to became who he is now. Documentary should be about serial killer as title says not documentary about detective's past. So first 11 minutes really got me bored and mad at the same time. After 11 minutes action happened, plot was good, can't complain, storytellers were convincing. It deserved 8/10 but after that start can't give more than 6.
