Kanaka and Srividya leave the village and flee to the city in search of a job when Charan raj kills the man of the house Delhi Ganesh . He lusts after Kanaka at every step and also follows her to Chennai. She keeps evading him . Inspector Rahman helps her at every corner . Both mother and daughter move in with him. There is also a scene where Rahman appears in almost nude bathing scene to draw crowds . They eventually get married . Paralelly Gauthami the journo is fearless and brings out the misdeeds of big politicians and villains of her society . Radha Ravi , Janak raj ,Charan Raj make good comic villains . Sarat kumar comes in a small role as a politician . Gautami succeeds in helping and saving Kanaka as her husband Rahman is imprisoned wrongly by the villains . A lot of meaningless unnecessary fights take place . Finally Kanaka and Rahman are united . The story is slow and drags at places. The main cast Gautami Rahman and Kanaka look good and pretty in their roles. Srividya is a treat to watch as Kanaka's mother. Over all a family fare without much logic.
