This episode made me realize that I don't really like the main character. At all. She acts like she's the epitome of wisdom here (when she's 16. She IS still a child.) One thing that really made me mad was when she tried to go behind her parents' backs and take some time off for work without her parents knowing so she could go to Australia with Walter. Is she just stupid, because she should know that she couldn't get into a country outside of the United States without parental permission if she is younger than 18. They would have to sign their permission for her to go.
I definitely understand this is a fictional TV show and to suspend disbelief, but when characters act so dumb it's sort of hard to like them anymore.
Not all of the episode was bad. I did like some parts of it, but the character of Doogie Kamealoha disappointed me in this one.
