A Western Deliverance. Great soundtrack.

A great homage to old fashioned western movies. Jim Campbell's Bushwhacker Blues sets up a poetic yet disturbing take on South Dakota's dark underbelly in the early 1900's. Had a 'From Dusk Till Dawn' feel to it when it takes a change for the worst - in a good way.

The characters performed really well within the time limit and it works for a short horror. I hear the director is doing a feature length western soon. Yes, he should absolutely do it. Especially with an actor from GTAV and The Walking Dead.

The music score was fantastic! Composed by talented musicians. Creating an eery and spooky banjo theme. Well done for winning the award! Bushwhacker Blues is a great short film to watch when you get the chance. Not to spoil anything but I wished the ending had more. Tiny bit abrupt but it kept me hooked and that's possibly the best thing about it. Deserves way more views on youtube for a werewolf film.

Well once again... An excellent short film! James Campbell does it again with a remarkable short story about two western convict brothers on the loose in the late 1800s, finding a mysterious unconscious preacher in the middle of the woods. Meanwhile an old tracker hunts down a beast that's been tearing apart dozens of civilians and the footprints lead to the same forest. It was brilliant and I didn't want any part of it to end. The acting was cinema acting and helped built up the suspense all the way. Soundtrack was amazing as well. Would have easily bought the soundtrack if there was one available.
