Comic Relief: The Apprentice

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the one they did two years ago, so I was obviously going to watch this one with possibly an even better team of people taking part. Basically a bunch of celebrities were bunched up, with aides Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford keeping an eye on them, and the task given to them by Amstrad founder Sir Alan Sugar, in aid of Comic Relief 2009, was to create, brand and sell a new toy for the 5-10-year-old market, which if successful would be manufactured and make money for the charity. The celebrities included Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Patsy Palmer, Fiona Phillips, Jonathan Ross, Carol Vorderman, Gok Wan and Ruby Wax, all with help from professional marketers Michelle Mone and Gerald Ratner. When the task was over, the team that raised the least amount of money would have a person be fired, the boys lost, and surprisingly an undeserved person was fired, Alan Carr for being brought in with two obviously bad contenders, just to be taken away from them. Narrated by Mark Halliley. Very good!
