All Good Things Must Come To An End

IMHO this is my favorite sitcom to come out of Canada. All six seasons were strong. A real likeable cast, well written, well performed and directed.

Extra cool that the series was filmed in Saskatchewan.

Highly recommend watching the series.

What's Brent Doing On Wednesday's
Ten-S-Ne114 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Sadly this was the last episode of my favorite Canadian sitcom. An excellent finale.

I'll try not to spoil too much but Brent leaves Corner Gas early and in a rush on Wednesday. Later at The Ruby Wanda tells Lacey & Hank that he leaves early every Wednesday but doesn't know where he goes. Emma & Oscar arrive at The Ruby and they don't know where Brent goes either.

Lacey scolds everyone for their curiosity in knowing where Brent goes every Wednesday. ....but alas the next morning Lacey practically begs Brent to tell her. Lacey teases him and accuses him of seeing a woman in private. Brent doesn't deny this.

Now everyone is on a mission to find out the whereabouts of Brent on Wednesday's.

That's it for now but the answer should have been obvious for the real life Brent. I liked the future for each character being shown.

I guess there's no place like home.

Actually this was an excellent finale for the series. For yours truly this is the numero uno sitcom to come out of Canada.

Not at all a review of the episode. As stated before an excellent finale. ...but when some shows end I get an empty feeling inside. This was one of those shows. You know there are no new episodes coming. Yes there was a movie and the animated series. ...but I had a strong attachment to the show.

For me this was a show you could watch with anyone and it's unlikely anyone would feel uncomfortable or offended.

Many hearty laughs from the series from a skilled company of actors, writers, directors and producers.

Just my two cents worth.

Mystery?

Not giving away anything for the finale of the series. One clue of what Brett is doing on Wednesday night is what Brett likely does best. (He's obviously a very good writer and creator to boot).

This was bittersweet for myself as it was the final episode of a show I really enjoyed. In fact, this is my all-time favourtie Canadian sitcom. (I was a big fan of SCTV for sketches and for sports it would be Hockey Night In Canada).

Not a edgy show at all. In fact, for most of the part it was a program that I would personally rate PG-13.

A very good finale to an iconic Canadian sitcom.

Highly recommended!
