A parable ? A religious film ?

The certitude remains about a splendid crafted short animation, the realism of puppets and the music being great good points in this case.

A venerable man carres few boxes. A sand storm makes lost one of them.

And you discover its content - something reminding an angel and a spermatozoon. He looks a proper body and it finds it , the scarecrowd reminding , in some measure, The Crucifixion. He gives and destroy life, first a crow, then a criket, eating them.

And when his master use a trick to have him again in box, the revenge is terrible.

The coldness of story, the cruelty of presumed angel, reminding the cruelty of children are the good parts reminding for some time in memory after the final credits.

Haunting and poetical Warning: Spoilers
An old man wanders in the middle of the dessert, carrying several boxes. When one of those boxes is missed, an element of catastrophe is released, leading to a completely unexpected ending. As simple as it sounds, this short manages to create an eerie atmosphere of solitude and bleakness, having, however, at the same time a macabre sense of tenderness and beauty.

The animation of this short is excellent, having the puppets and incredible level of realism. The naturalistic aesthetic used in the characters fits perfectly well with the overall tone of the story, being easily comparable to the magnificent shorts done by Jan Svankmajer or the Brothers Quay.

Imaginative and creepy, this short is a must- see.
