It's not that bad. But it's not a typical coherent story using traditional events and dialogue to progress over a complex plot. Half of the scenes are just vignettes from rural Manitoba with no speaking but sometimes loud background sound that makes it feel almost like a horror movie.
The aspect ratio focuses more on the characters than wider formats.
That's about it. If you want to see a movie that looks like a 1960s film school student project then this could be worthwhile. I liked it because of the random chaos and because I don't care as much about complex interpersonal relationships, which this film does not have the dialogue necessary to completely flesh out.
