No Regrets

Warning: Spoilers
Clara and Jesse are still at odds with each other. Jesse gets marriage advice from Joseph while working on a swing together. Joseph tells him God is the crossbeam that will keep them together. This was such a good scene, as much as I love Lee and Jesse's friendship, it was nice to see Jesse getting advice from a God fearing man.

Lee admits to Rosemary that he wanted to buy the dress shop from Dottie so that Rosemary could be her own boss. Rosemary is not amused, because she isn't sure what she wants her career to be anymore. I hope Rosemary figures it out soon, I hate to see her lost like this.

New man in town, Christopher, runs into Lee in the street and pick pockets Lee's pocket watch. He catches Rachel's eye and they end up running into each other a lot. There seems to be a romance blossoming there but because Rachel is so new and shallow, I'm not sure it's very entertaining. Christopher seems to be in town to see Gowen. They have a few mysterious encounters, even one where Gowen talks about what he has learned from his past mistakes. At the end of the episode, we find out that Christopher is Gowens son.

Angela accidentally falls off the swing outside her house and hurts her knee. She is taken to the infirmary where Carson examines her and says she's okay, nothing is broken. This incident causes Minnie to worry about trusting Elizabeth with teaching Angela. Elizabeth makes a visit to Joseph and Minnies house with a Braille book.

Faith wants Carson to take the fellowship at Johns Hopkins hospital but he is refusing. I'm worried that their relationship is on the rocks and that they won't be together much longer, even though Carson says he won't give up.

Elizabeth gets a note at her front door asking her to meet Lucas by the pond. On her way there she passes by Nathan and Allie. Nathan is teaching Allie how to ride a horse. It gets awkward when Allie invites Elizabeth to stay with them but Elizabeth politely declines. Allie asks Nathan if he "like-likes" Elizabeth and his answer is that it's complicated. Allie tells Nathan that she is in a love triangle herself, with Robert and Anna. You can tell that Nathan feels for her. Great parallel storyline.

At the pond picnic, Lucas and Elizabeth talk about Little Jack and end up toasting to their relationship. It starts to rain and they run to get inside Lucas's car. Things get intense as they lean in for a kiss but Elizabeth says "I can't. Not yet. I'm sorry." Lucas smiles and says he understands. He's such a gentleman.

During a side by side conversation with Carson, Nathan says he is not giving up on Elizabeth, so there is hope for Team Nathan fans after all.

Clara is filling in for Fiona at the Barber Shop and realizes that she's actually doing a very good job and may help Fiona out more in the future. She also has really funny exchanges with Hickam, who we can all agree, is one of the best characters in the show.

Ned and Florence are very flirty in this episode and I think all the Hearties are in agreement that this is an amazing couple. Ned installs the bell in the mercantile after many interruptions. Florence gets Ned a beekeepers outfit. We end the episode on a cliffhanger when Ned walks out of the mercantile in his new outfit to show it off. He complains about being too hot and passes out, falling down the stairs. Luckily Carson is nearby and comes to the rescue.

Overall this was a very dialog heavy episode. Gowens talk with Christopher and Nathan/Carson's side by side talk could both be interpreted many ways. I don't particularly care for newcomer Christopher or his soon to be relationship with Rachel. I personally would like to see more Lee and Rosemary storylines.

A beautiful love story.

A beautiful journey of a widow to open her heart to a new and great love. Complex and confused feelings until she can understand where her heart is. The most beautiful she chooses with her heart, without prejudice. Watch and draw your own conclusions.

Disappointinge

Well we keep watching and it gets worse. Jumps all over with no excitement. When is Erins character gonna make a decision? Come on it's getting old waiting for Her to de ide which one she wants. Rosemary is my favorite character and even Pascale doesn't seem in to her part. Think this should be last season or get new writers or something. I am sorry to be so critical but we look forward to each season and this season isn't worth watching. Very blah.

What were they thinking?

Warning: Spoilers
Another episode where they knowingly string Nathan fans along, have him say things only the guy who gets the girl should say only to make his rejection that much more painful. The writers are really enjoying twisting that knife.
