'Isolation (Isolering)' is a gem with a relevant and important message that everyone can benefit from seeing.

"I watched the film at the Filmstaden premiere the day before yesterday and haven't stopped thinking about it since.

The movie not only touched my heart but also made me reflect on the complexity of life and experiences many people share.

In the film, we are thrown into a world where two broken souls cross paths, and a power-play comes into play. The story manages to highlight and explain how this power-play, or manipulation, looks and is experienced - something that can be difficult for someone to explain in words or lacks words to describe.

I want to add that despite the low budget, tight production schedule, and filming during the Covid-19 period, the film and the actors managed to impressively emphasize the message. (One could say it contributed well to the theme of the film... Isolation)

I sincerely hope that this important film gets the attention it deserves and perhaps even a larger budget in the future to further polish it.

Worst movie ever, spend the time on something else

The film begins with two friends meeting in a house outside of town to hang out, one of the friends has arranged a surprise in the form of two prostitutes who is about to show up in half an hour, whereupon one of the friends decides to go home. At the bus stop he meets a young girl who has been beaten by her boyfriend and persuades her to come with him for treatment at his place.

The acting feels very amateurish and the lines sound unatural and as if they were read directly from a script. The scenes are unnecessarily drawn out and the film is strongly reminiscent of those types of amateur short films that can be found on youtube, but in a two hour version. I have never seen any of the actors before and i wonder if they really are actors or just some random people. After half an hour into the movie im thinking of turning it off.

Very dark

Just finished watching Isolering and it was indeed a very dark film with some very disturbing scenes. It is a slow burn where the aspects of time are not quite clear at first but as you get into it, the pieces start to fall in place. You will want to watch till the end simply for one reason; The pure darkness and evil portrayed by Alex Fatehnia as the supporting character "Jens" is truly impressive and his presence raises the film every time he enters a scene. As a viewer I kept waiting for chances to see more of Jens simply because I was so impressed to by this new actor and his capabilities.

Can't wait to see more of him in the future!
