First off, Fallon and Liam are so boring. Why Alexis and Dominique get less scenes then them I don't understand, because they were amazing. Once again, every characters storyline was interesting except Fallon and Liam. When will Dynasty just stop with the music and themed episodes and gimmicks. To this episode's credit, it was far better than the toddler entertainment black and white episodes, but still, this is supposed to be a mature business drama. Some amazing family scenes though, and Amanda is now my second favourite character. Only behind Steven.

This second half of season got my attention...

The plot is catchier, the soft parody aspect is enjoyable again. And writers try to shake things up. Not as much as I would've liked, but still. It was a nice effort. The thing with this reboot series, is that sometimes it feels like it was written for preteens. Like this episode, that is partially another Fallon in Wonderland tale. And why is Anders still here? What was the point of killing off his character, if his ghost, apparition, or whatever, is still as present as he was before he died? It was pointless. Killing him off was actually. They should've picked Crystal or Liam, even. The script needs more edge to really surprise us. That being said, this second part of season 4 is a lot more entertaining than the early episodes, that made me stop watching the show for a while. And I'm glad I got back to it, it's nice to spot all the original series callbacks they put sometimes. « New » Alexis's haircut, is more similar to that of Joan Collins back in the day. And Amanda finally got included into the story. Let's see how the rest goes...

This wasn't as bad as the black and white episodes but still disappointing. The episode could have perfectly worked without the dream sequence and Fallon and Liam have the lamest storylines like always this season. I am watching the original Dynasty right now and I am thinking one of the biggest mistakes they made with the reboot was making Fallon the lead and write her that way. I perfectly know that some elements need to be updated but business Fallon is a comic relief and Fallon Unlimited is not only boring, but the name itself gets on my nerves a bit. Alexis should get equal screentime in season 5 instead of being a side character. The main business focus should be oil and therefore Fallon Unlimited needs to be replaced back with Carrington Atlantic, Colby Co and Van Kirk Industries. Amanda is turning out good and that's the proof that original content is always the best. That's why we need Dex and Sable in the reboot for s5. And one more thing, enough of Anders ghost! We all know he was a good character and actor and needs to be honored but letting him more screentime than the one he had alive makes his death less meaningful. I'd rather a scene when the house is a mess and the family finally realizes he's gone.

Even 4 stars is generous. I really thought this was going to be one of the better episodes of the season based off the first 10 minutes. But oh my god. 12 minutes of the AU cr@p? It's still not the worst episode, but the show was heading in such a good direction and then this. Disappointed.
Another gimmick for the children

Horrible episode. Why do they still do these childish gimmicks. Smells like Josh Reims. Waste of an episode really. I am truly sick of Fallon. I am much more invested in the other characters. Alexis and Dominique have been the best characters this season, and honestly, I really don't care if Liam and Fallon get back together or not.
