Wow, very cool documentary!

Awesome film about the complicated topic of migration. The topic isn't that new and the fact that there are lots of films with similar content might bring up a distance to watch this, but this film is something different. its so subjective, that there ain't complications at all to accept the facts it deals with. I saw it just a week ago in a small berlin cinema and I was blown away by the artistical approach and the way it was delivered: Seen a lot of social documentaries but this one will stuck, not because its so shocking or new, but because of the way it is made.

I've seen Welcome to Tijuana quite a while ago on a festival here in San Francisco, think it was its premiere. Really, a very impressive and interesting film about immigration. Although it tells nothing new for people who are already familiar and involved in this topic (I'm not entirely, just knew the common lines from the papers or the typical phrases from TV to this point..so I've found this very interesting after all..), it serves its facts very evocative and touching. I also liked the artistical approach, which enhances very colorful the heavy weight of its dramatic topic. An excellent film you should consider throw an eye upon, if you're into social documentary.
