A beautiful and cohesive end to the first season of Leverage: Redemption. Absolutely adoring the fact they are keeping with the original run's beautiful rule of ending everything satisfyingly at the end of every season, while still leaving room for more. I can't wait to see what comes next for Leverage: Redemption.

My, wife and I have been hooked on Leverage from the original Pilot aired. We were so excited to see that IMDB with or for Amazon Prime. My wife and I have already binged the new iteration, and man you can just see why this show is so what our country needs now and Mr. Devlin please keep this one going forever!

Such a good series! Noah Wyle is phenomenal!! Would absolutely love more seasons and episodes only if Noah is part of them. Noah's addition to this series was the best decision they have made. Love Christian as well. When you put Noah and Christian together, it will always be a hit.

FABULOUS Season 1 FINALE !!

Warning: Spoilers
The reason that I loved Leverage & LOVE Leverage: Redemption is because it's SO CLEVER. I was ECSTATIC when I heard they were rebooting Leverage.

You think that there's NO WAY that they can get out of a sticky situation...but they hide something in plain sight to SAVE THE DAY.

The Characters are FUN & FUNNY. This group has such great Chemistry.

SPOILER: Not going to lie, I wish Hardison (Aldis Hodge) was in the entire Season but he made a fabulous return for the last episode. Noah Wylie was so good as Harry Wilson. Hardison's Sister Breanna was an easy fit right into the Team.

I CERTAINLY HOPE THIS WAS A SEASON FINALE and that there will be a Season 2 (&3&4 etc !)

An early "Black Book"-like finale

Warning: Spoilers
After seeing and reading the debate around the Train Job (which is a nice, contrasting panning to more classic, not over-complicated stories), this one rushes back to the up-to-date topics and obstacles to be solved, starting from the last cliffhanger and sucking the audience in, up to the Terminator-moment, and from this one, speeding up, managing an entertaining shafting-the-baddies storyline, emotional moments (more often than so far: by Eliott) compressing the action into a showdown firework, presented by Sophie in an epic monologue.

Sure, as mostly, the story relies on superhero-like hacking within minimum time and preparation, and an error-free timeline for most characters, but still entertaining, because ... the characters are able to deliver it to their fanbase, while still maintaining comedy elements (especially Parker) and relatable interactions.

PS: after watching this ep the third time, I can't help pointing out some weaknesses (which were necessary for the plot/heist, but nonetheless):

For one: This "we need a backdoor + we need it done at 2 places" plot, as well as the way hacking is depicted, is somewhat dated.

A drone of the shown size won't have this payload.

And as already pointed out: EACH single server room + building automation/security in the civilized world comes without stand-in UPS/outage bypass battery, lasting at minimum until a clean shutdown.

Also, rebooting single servers easily takes 5minutes, and a complex rack, let alone, a whole server room/cluster, might even take an hour or more, not 60seconds.

Nowadays, I'd consider this to be common knowledge.

Finally: Painting "RIZ" by hacking several "home automation" building? Are you kidding? And these windows are not affected by the power outage?

Anyhow: Leverage is still (and always was) way more plausible and realistic than the teletubby show named "Team Scorpion".

Ready for Season 2
jo-0857323 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In the review of #TheMuddyWatersJob episode, I mentioned that each season of #Leverage and #LeverageRedemption ends with a satisfying gift wrapped with a bow. This first season of #LeverageRedemption ends with #HarryWilson becoming a helpful storefront lawyer, #SophieDevereaux realizing that her stage is with her "family," #BreannaCasey as a solid member of the family, and - of most interest to me personally - the threesome of #EliotSpencer, #Parker, and #AlecHardison is still together "till their dyin' day" or forever, if they get those robot bodies. The dynamic between each of the #LeverageTrio in pairs or as a threesome is the glue that holds it all together for me. This season-ending episode leaves lots of opportunities open for a second, third, fourth, etc. Season on #IMDbTV. The original #Leverage series started soon after 911, when the world needed some heroes, especially good "bad guys" taking down those who prey on the innocent. #LeverageRedemption has been rebirthed at a time when those predators of the past have become evil, revising laws and morality to fit their personal agendas for domination. I believe we need heroes like the #LeverageTeam even more now than ever. I am ready for Season 2, #IMDbTV.

Episode 16

Warning: Spoilers
A good ending to one of the surprises of the TV season. Classic Leverage where the bad guy thinks they know what is going to happen only to be consistently let down and lose.

EXCELLENT episode! except...
recyclergeek13 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
SPOILERS! Any, and I mean ANY Corp. In the business such as RIZ would have immortal power (I've worked on & maintained several systems). That is to say an enormous battery backup for ALL critical systems and would never, ever under any circumstances experience even a blip of a power outage. Said battery B/U would keep it all up & running until the whole building standby generator comes online & stabilizes output which would then automatically & immediately switch over.

Other than that rather glaring plot hole, EXCELLENT episode. Love this show!
