This refreshing flashback episode tells the story of how Dave (Joby Baker) and Linda (Julie Parrish) got married. It all started in Hawaii where Dave and Larry (Ronnie Schell) were disc jockeys being courted by a vacationing Mr. Hutton (Billy De Wolfe) for a job in Los Angeles. Due to finances, the couple can't afford a big wedding and a honeymoon. Therefore, they decide on a tiny wedding. However, one of their down-to-earth sponsors Ace Farmer (The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour writer Murray Roman) is flying a shipment of lobsters to the mainland and offers to bring back the wedding party as a wedding present. Now, Dave plans to throw Linda a surprise wedding, but keeps their simple original plans as Plan B. Rick Mittleman once again pens a good episode, proving himself one of the best writers for the series.
