I really liked the characters. It's nice for a change that we pretty much see a reverse harem that involves a group of middle aged men and a girl in her early 20s. Normally it's always a group of "drop dead gorgeous" young single lads chasing after a girl in her teens. I say kudos to this anime for being different on that respect! Although there is romance and we know who the guy that the girl will pick. However to make this spoiler free review, you'll have to see for yourself!
However I thought the art was underwhelming, I know CGI was on it's baby steps that time but for god sake, at least add a bit of it! Especially with the scenery of Rome to make it even more realistic and glossy! Also I thought having 11 episodes was rather pointless for this kind of anime. It in all honesty, should've been a movie!
To add other positive points away from my complaints is that the Japanese sub actors were great and the food looked delicious. I actually felt like having risotto for some reason while watching this anime and my tum was gargling like hell all night. Yeah that obviously means don't watch this anime at night folks lol.
Overall good anime with a few hiccups but it's definitely worth checking this anime out if you wanna explore more foodie animes!
