So the first series pretty good. This start to the second, with a different writer, is complete rubbish. Series 1 wasn't exactly believable but it was enjoyable. The police operation at the beginning of this is soooooo full of holes and so unbelievable it's farcical. Having caught a murderer within the first 10 minutes or so it's obvious that won't be it - or it wouldn't have the rest of the episode and next to go. So, who's the "real" murderer? Well with that being obvious in the first 15 minutes as well it wasn't worth watching the continuing dreadful script. How other reviewers could compare this series to Morse is beyond me...

Worst Police Department Ever

The reason I started watching this series is because of Robson Green and I loved watching his series Wire In The Blood. It was a shame that it was cancelled after six seasons.
Touching Evil has turned out to be ridiculous. In this episode, Scalping, the OSC crime organization, which Green is a part, is following a serial killer kidnap a woman and they do nothing to stop him. They just sit back and watch her most likely being murdered. It makes absolutely no sense!
I don't know who writes this drivel, but they should have been fired. It's a shame because Green is a good actor and this series could have been great. I also don't understand how these actors could read this script and agree to act in it. I'm done with Touching Evil.
