We are nearing the end of season 2 and Nancy kidnaps Everett Hudson and has him right where she wants him. After interrogating him, she discovers that he didn't kill Celia but he did kill another family member in cold blood and is arrested. But Nancy has an unexpected horror awaiting her and the Drew Crew must band together to stop it once and for all. Poor Nancy! She hasn't been able to catch a break. Hopefully she does with the season finale!

Personally I liked this episode (except the cafe part and politics)
Hudson family is more or less like Lannisters. The only difference is Lannisters do it for their family but Hudsons do it for Money, power and society.
This is what I signed up for. This is the Nancy Drew I was expecting. Instead of talking about these they were showing all the non sens for 1st 14 episodes.

In previous episodes, the police in small town Maine are not woke enough to realize how racist they are? A billionaire savior comes into town and tells "white people" jokes? Now, "You're one of the good ones" in this episode.
These race focused sub-plots are completely overwhelming otherwise watchable episodes. I think there were some important things happening for Nancy in this episode, but I was so completely turned off by the racial dialog that I couldn't tell you what else happened.
I'm giving myself an hour back every week.

This character is a useless joke! He does exactly what he blames on others, and we're supposed to root for him?! So sick of this character dragging the show down with his bad faith. That ending twist was ridiculous. Are they going to rip off Japanese horror, now?...
