Excellent season finale, the ending was total goosebumps creating more hype and showcases a strong storyline for next season. This episode fulfils the expectation of a season finale.

Amazing, emotional finale, and a great twist ending

Warning: Spoilers
This was the perfect way to cap off the season. It was emotional, heartwarming, scary, and shocking. It was really inspirational Nancy battling through her emotional demons. It's great to see how her character has grown across these two seasons. Nancy's dads coming together was so beautiful as well. Nancy is finally realizing her feelings for Ace, and the writers have done this slowburn so well! Props to them for really establishing the relationship rather than rushing into it like most shows do. Odette letting George live in her own body was selfless, and made me even sadder that she's gone now. But the biggest thing was George's proposal to Nick, which I was ecstatic about. I hope he says yes, because they're such a good couple. I'm glad the writers decided to put them together, because they have so much chemistry together. The ending of the episode was absolutely INSANE. The random member of the Hudson family was a little suspicious, but I would never have figured out the twist. Next season is going to be awesome with a central villain from the start!

Transcending Trauma

Warning: Spoilers
An imaginative depiction of the power of confronting, processing and releasing our trapped wounds/trauma/darkness. Just happened upon this, now I have two seasons to go back and watch. Now I'm hooked.

Come on writers, at least own it!

Season 2 is clearly a set back. So canceling its bad writing, with a cop out episode like this, won't change anything. Damages have already been made. Flawed heroines is a given, since Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so it wasn't like we didn't see this coming. Only using « The Echo of Lost Tears » as a way to erase, and eventually redeem all the bad decisions made this season, is very lazy, and condescending to viewers. Hopefully season 3 is reasonably entertaining, but from the looks of the ratings, it's highly unlikely.
