Warning: Spoilers
Richmond with the first 3 goals. The commentators are wrong, playing-on just helps Richmond amp up the pressure and get more numbers to the ball, Tigers 3 goals up after one. Accurate set shots by both teams, Cats bring the margin back, Aarts with 3 goals. Notice Lynch defending the kick-out and it not being exploited, as the next player's quite far away. They need to run around him every so often, to alleviate some of the pressure and gain significant ground. The Cats using the ball much better in the 2nd, Richmond up 9 at the half. Mansell playing for free-kicks all the time, gonna get himself seriously injured. A massive turnaround by the Cats, controlling the footy really from the 2nd quarter on, winning by 63 points. Richmond a bit sloppy, dropping marks. They're missing some of their workhorses in the side and Dusty quiet after a week off. Geelong with 131 more possessions, 52 more marks, 15 more tackles, 9 more clearances, 12 more inside 50's and 13 more scoring shots. The Cats with 19 tackles and 20 marks inside 50, though only 6 contested marks for the game, same as Richmond. Geelong's 3 key forwards combining for 15 of the 19 goals. Rohan in his 150th game, with 16 disposals, 5 intercepts, an assist and 5 straight goals. Hawkins 20 disposals, 2 contested marks, 16 score involvements, 4 goals, 2 assists. Duncan and Cameron also among the best. Bolton best for the Tigers, with 21 disposals, 5 clearances, 6 inside 50's, 491 metres gained and 3 goals.

3. (Geel) G. Rohan, 2. (Geel) T. Hawkins, 1. (Rich) S. Bolton.
