A Must Watch
rnmsmom10 July 2021
Yes, this documentary is a poignant look at one veteran's journey from enlisting, to serving, to being injured, to his PTSD diagnosis and survival, but it is so much more. It is an 'every Veteran's' story. If you have ever had a family member or friend that has served or if you know a young adult contemplating enlisting, this is a must watch. It is concise and in depth and so personal yet educational. I can't wait to watch it again because I'm sure I missed a few things the first time. Thanks to Frank and his family and his team for sharing this story with the world.

"Essential Briefing"

"This documentary should be considered an essential briefing for any human being who has suffered the costs of war, and any who love them, as a roadmap to recovery. " Senator John Brooks.

A soldier's metamorphosis
mkirkup-7017912 July 2021
Frank's near death experience in Vietnam and the shameful treatment he received when he returned, eventually cloaked him in a dark blanket of a type of mental illness that was not fully understood at the time. He wore this cloak for 20 years. His story is a detailed account of what he and many soldiers have experienced and what brought him to attempt to save, not only himself but all who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Thirty years of self discover and reemergence from that twenty years of despair, followed. This film is a must see.

Walking Healing Join the Journey

One of the best times you will have. It is a journey with so many paths that all are led through Frank Romeo. He shares his personal story of pain and how we can rise release and return to who we are. Mental Health is so important to talk about but also knowing that recovery is within reach.

Best Documentary I have seen in a long time

Inspiring and moving. This film could not have come at a better time. The mental health issues addressed coupled with Frank's journey really shed light on veterans and PTSD in America. The topics described in the film really resonated with me and my own experience with trauma and mental health. Thanks for normalizing and bringing to light a topic that is front and center for many of us.
