It's Elizabeth's fifteenth birthday, Catherine Parr and Thomas Seymour throw the young Princess a lavish birthday celebration, but of course it's for their own benefit.
I think this is perhaps the most accomplished episode so far, it is truly growing with every passing episode, and this third was a myriad of scheming and treachery.
I always thought Part took an almost parental role over Elizabeth and Edward, I'm not quite sure as to the accuracy of this dramatisation, but it certainly made for entertaining viewing, I honestly never thought of Catherine Parr in such a way, this Lady Macbeth figure.
Interesting to see the young King manipulated and moved into position, it's so interesting the amount of people that took advantage of his youth.
The lighting and music were spot on, they really did at to the atmosphere.
That's the most novel way to do a pregnancy test, it is somewhat different to the blue line.
Very good indeed, 8/10.
