Light hearted, feel good tv show

I watch this after a long day at work. It's light hearted and heart warming, perfect to unwind on the sofa refreshing your mind from all the stress from work. It was one of the shows I waited for a week while it was running. Now I am looking forward to the season 2 which has not been decided.
BTW, I found the ratings were terrorized after episode 5 or something where something about corruption of the badminton association in Indonesia. I looked it up and it turned out it was their national sport and some Indonesians were upset that it was depicted that there was corruption in Indonesia around badminton. Well, look it up on the internet about that. I just wanted to mention that in case there are people who think it is a trash show seeing this ridiculously low rating. Because it is absolutely not.

A great set up

The first episode is long but lays the ground work and sets things up really well for the following episodes.
Well written with charming characters. The main lead appears to be a tricky combination of being slightly obnoxious but also having a good heart (like all the best coming of ages heroes).
What follows is a set up for a typical fish out of water storyline but with Badminton and sporting competition as a vehicle. Although this set up is a well worn path, Racket Boys does it really well with a strong case of characters who develop more personality as the series progresses.
Some reviews here have stated that they found the episode confusing....... they must have been watching something else. The premise is super basic.
