This is an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story of the same name. Given the source material length this is a pretty short production but a fun time nonetheless. Filmed, using modern cameras, in a style similar to films from the 1920s. The music and the film style results in nice spooky feel as the protagonist walks through the woods in search of shelter. We are even treated to some fun images from several of the books the narrator discovers! Overall I'd call this a successful adaption and would suggest it those who are fans of the story.
