This was a great episode, liked most of the family except for Betty and bud. Betty really acted like her nickname, princess. She was spoiled and snobbish. Acted like everything was about her. Bud was plain lazy and kind of dense. Kathy had her moments, but not as bad as the other two. Almost everything thing else elinor Donahue was in she acted the same way.

Jim's friend tries to convince him to buy a deserted island.
One of Season 3's best. The family decides to take a motor boat out to the island to check it out. The find an abandoned old cabin left by a hermit who once lived there. Betty has the toughest time there, she falls in the water and their untied boat drifts away. Many funny scenes as the family tries to make do with their primitive surroundings.
