Ancient mythologies are very intriguing. Even though the effects are bad, it's still gripping, I like it.

I am a fan of mythology, and this series was informative. While I liked that, I thought that the graphics could do with a bit of polishing up, they did look kind of cheap. The acting was somewhat pantomime, and I would like it if they spoke.
Shame they cancelled the series. I wish they'd renew it for a new season, but with better graphics and for the actors to speak more in the reconstructions

I was excited to watch when Story television advertised they would be airing this as their Saturday binge today. There are some ancient gods/myths I wasn't as educated on as others and settled in to be educated and entertained.
The first I was able to watch was the piece on Thor, the Norse god of thunder. I learned much I did not already know. However, toward the end they announced seeing how all this ties into reality and began comparing to the ancient Christian myths. I thought perhaps it is just this once.
Several episodes in it became very clear that they producers of this series was more vested in tarnishing the ancient myths, save one - Christianity. I could stomach no more and returned to other options for education and entertainment. I gave three stars because the episodes I watched did contain some interesting information regarding the myths they were trying to dispel.
