With his battling for healthy school dinners, we would have though Jamie Oliver had done a very good job and could not repeat such significant change. Well, this documentary concerning the well-being and state of the poultry business is trying to have a similar affect. Basically Oliver explained the horrible conditions that chickens have to live in when in battery, they are all packed into a not too big space with no freedom to move about, and the way they used to be killed was horrible too. Oliver is determined to make all chickens to be eaten free range, with enough space to move about, which will also give them better nutrition, and taste better compared to a battery chicken. From this programme you also got some very good recipes for chicken based meals. With special guests Bill Oddie and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Very good!
