Does not deserve the hate it getting

This episode was alright to me it definitely helped that we got 3 in a row so I look back at this one and just find it ok. Also If you really have a problem with this "wokeness" then you really haven't been watching this so well enough because by your guys is definition it's always been woke. So get on board or get out of the way!

Are we really giving this episode low ratings solely for the storyline about Islam?

A little ridiculous to me that this one is being reviewed so harshly considering that I feel Halo is one of the most well written characters in the show. Additionally, people saying it's a waste of time aren't really addressing the fact that it takes up a very small amount of the time during the episode. This is the same way all of the episodes have been structured: with A, B, AND C storylines. Violet's takes up the least amount of time, with Superboy's and Khaldurahm's taking the main stage. And both were quite interesting! I'll admit it wasn't the BEST arc premiere so far (Artemis' still takes the cake with that one), but it was still very solid. Plus, I gotta say, the animation has really stepped itself up a notch! So pretty and well done- glad they were given a good budget. Overall a fun episode that dives deeper into the Atlantis politics, and also gives us a neat new villain.

Strong Character Development

Great episode and I was excited to see Dolphin as I really enjoy her character design. I also loved seeing Kal'dur and his boyfriend. Alanantian politics take center stage and it was interesting to see the different factions of the oceans.

It was also great to see Violet explore her beliefs and to learn more about Islam. It was a very needed educational moment as most people are ignorant and give the show a low rating due to only the conversation on a religion that makes them uncomfortable. Its good to see religions other than Christianity and catholicism.

Interesting, thoughtful, and well written

This is a great "breather" episode between fight, carnage, and backstabbing. Sure, there's some violence at the summit in Poseidon's, but it really takes a backseat to political intrigue the there. Other than that, we get the intriguing start if a new plot as Connor tries to figure out where he is, or even IF he still is. Violets strict arc is right on time for Ramadan and gives some nice, measured insight into both views of Islam and nonbinary mindsets.

This is a very well written episode with excellent character development on a variety of levels. If this is the kind of thing that makes you scream, cry, and give a one star review because you can't stand anything that doesn't confirm to your narrow world view, well...that's just kind of pathetic.
