Greenland continues to confront Denmark with its efforts to have autonomy over oil findings. Of course, that autonomy is based on the Chinese being the ones to extract it. They are even planning to build a new harbor in the north. Denmark is getting pressure from the U. S. who don't want hostile interests in that part of the world. Birgitte has been holding fast to her beliefs and is being seen as somewhat a villain, keeping this modest country from realizing their potential. Of course, the Chinese see this as their oil. Katrine is having a heck of a time dealing with her own people, especially the woman who ignores her wishes over and over. She is getting hate mail, calling her lots of abusive names. Magnus's pig thing is still news and he has a confrontation with his mother whom he feels used him. But things continue to heat up in Greenland and the episode ends with a very dramatic event.
