Live & Let Live

Both Georgie and Gerry try to move on and both have dinner dates. It is for business only.

Gerry is due to meet a woman who has written a best selling children's book about a bear. Gerry sees the value of branding opportunities.

He just wonders what kind of woman she will turn out to be, an old fuddy duddy or someone young and glamorous.

Georgie also is due to meet a businessman that would bring opportunities for her shop.

Both of them are in for a surprise. Edith Marshall turns out to be a man (Terence Alexander) much married. He is more interested in letting Gerry come out with his feelings of getting divorced. Something Ediths knows a thing or two.

Of course Georgie client turns out to be a woman. The glamorous Kay (Millicent Martin) and Phil is instantly smitten by her. Georgie too lets it all out to her.

I think you can guess there would be instant attraction once Edith and Kay finally meet.

Well I was surprised to see Millicent Martin in the cast. Very much old school glamour and still acting in LA.

Dinner dates for Georgie and Gerry.
Sleepin_Dragon28 October 2019
Georgie and Gerry seem to be reaching some sort of a reconciliation. Both waiting in anticipation for the other to call, that desperation to speak to one another masks the ease both have with each having business dinner dates.

It's not the most exciting episode of all, I'd say it's perhaps the least enjoyable of the series, but it does feature the fabulous Millicent Martin, who puts in a fun performance as May Badcock. It also features the fabulous Terence Alexander as Edith Marshall, an awesome actor, who is quite honestly wasted here.

We do at least get to see just how utterly devastated Georgie is by her husband's betrayal, McKenzie is always such good value.

It's still a decent watch. 6/10
