They've got something here....
gridoon20246 February 2022
....and I hope they don't lose it. Both episodes so far have a unique tone, unlike probably anything else I can remember: the show can be LOL funny (the mailman: "I've made mistakes too....but that's another story"), genuinely touching (the trauma of loss is always there), and intriguingly suspenseful (with a clear nod to "Rear Window"). And how about those lingerie scenes? Kristen Bell is still smoking hot. 8.5/10.

Its not Satire
dertyler-4823128 February 2022
I just wanted to clarify that this isnt satire, its a parody of the suspense genre.

I wasnt sure after the first episode, but while watching the second episode and realising its a parody, also the jokes starting to work.

So knowing this maybe helps to really enjoy this series :)

A good second episode.
Sleepin_Dragon5 February 2022
Anna learns that there's a third household member living in the house opposite, not happy with what she sees, she decides to do a little digging.

I thought this was a much better episode than the first, that didn't tell us much, this tells us a lot more, we learn why Anna is the way she is, her past, and of course we get The Incident, perhaps the meat on the bone as it were.

Question is, did she imagine it, or was it real? The next episode will give us some more.

Very well acted once again, a few jokes, I'm still a little unsure as to what exactly this show is all about.

Enjoyed 7/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good episode but why is no one mentioning the dumbest thing I've ever heard of?!

No prison is going to allow a child into a non-visitor area. No parent in their right mind would ever think "let's bring a vulnerable person into a very unsafe environment." I got quite stuck on that's how the child died. Absolutely ridiculous.

The trauma
AvionPrince163 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So we learn more about the main character and the mention of her trauma even if we didnt learn the whole truth. The neighbour have a girlfriend. She will investigate on her trough..... Instagram and create an account with sexy pics. She will find that she is playing with the neigbour. She find pics with an other man. And at the end they will be a kind of murder. But i still dont know if its just trough the imagination or the alcohol effect. But yeah it pretty interesting enough and we just wondering how that woman will deal with her problems and how she will manage to save the woman who get killed or just maybe save herself? Because that can maybe the big problem here. Herself.

Everybody makes mistakes

The way this series deliberately hits every cliché possible is just funny in a strange way.

Kristen Bell is a great actress and fits the role perfectly.

Funny episode
kellyq126 May 2022
This episode was actually funnier than the first, as I love the scenes with the "other woman" and her attempts to be sexy on social media. Still, I find the genre/tone inconsistent at times.

Do markers smell?
Calicodreamin28 January 2022
Terribly predictable and only a few small chuckles. Acting is decent but not much character development. Lot of filler scenes and repetition, did this need to be a series?

Yes markers have a smell!

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed it overall. Dark comedy, crime, drama. I expected it to go one way and assumed that it would boomerang back to that way but it ended up completely different... Nothing is as it seems. Didn't catch that the Therapist was her ex husband. I was for sure that the Niel killed Lisa. The dark sarcasm & hummor. Mocking pretty much every thriller. I glad the episodes weren't too long. It was a comfortable watch that won't take up most of your day.
