A story of love, hope, loss & life
rahulkumar-hcl20 October 2022
A must-watch movie that deserves a wide audience & the discerning audience deserves more such meaningful films. Should be made tax-free country wide. Beautiful/sensitive treatment of a serious and important topic. Veteran actress Revathy (of Anjali, Thevar Magan, Ab Tak Chappan fame) gives another national-award worthy performance as the organ donation grief counsellor who is the lifeline of this heart rending "true story". The entire supporting cast delivers. Great direction by first time director. Excellent production values /technical aspects.. the makeup was critical to the film and was so naturally done .. nothing looked out of place, overboard. The music gels and the songs move the story forward.

Great storytelling, with a message.

The story narrates the plight of an organ donation receiver that intersects with the emotional journey of the donor family and the sacrifices of the caregiver. With such an intense subject, the writer has brilliantly sprinkled with smart one-liners that will make the audience smile. A very positive movie promoting organ donation, luckily focuses on the emotions of the individuals and tuned down the propaganda aspects of this. Revathy and Satyajeet Dubey and provided some brilliant piece of acting with Mrinmayee Godbole and Sawan Tank supporting the story. Dr. Anirban Bose had delivered the message with style and the screenplay was well over. Not sure why this movie didn't do the festival rounds and would have won a few awards for acting.
