A really good start.

How on Earth did financial investor Melissa Caddick manage to live such a lavish lifestyle? The answer, she's running a Ponzi scheme, and punching her the money from her clients? How and why did she disappear?

I thought it was quite a well made drama, nicely acted, and Melissa's story is definitely an interesting one, a story I remember being all over the news.

Sydney looks pretty awesome here, and I imagine it is an incredible place to live, on my list or top holiday destinations.

Some well known Aussie faces here, I've been watching A Place to call home, you'll definitely recognise one or two faces.

Kate Atkinson puts in a fine performance here, she makes Melissa very believable, she's portrayed as being an awful person, she really does seem like a spoilt brat, used to having whatever she wants, instantly. All she seems to be interested in, herself and her money.

8/10.

Wasted potential

Disappointment is all I felt while watching the first episode of the latest underbelly instalment. A great cast of both old and new faces, an interesting backstory to explore and build upon, yet a confusing, directionless and bland final product.

I am especially taken aback by the acting quality. This series is almost a whose who of the Australian television industry over the last few decades, yet many performances come across as uninspired and subdued.

Unfortunately, it seems some time since the 9network has produced a engaging drama. Fortunately other Australian networks are producing higher quality drama still. Your time would be better invested in one of those dramas.
