Warning: Spoilers
Amazing how on the reward challenge we only heard two people talking as if the the other two weren't even there. Endless yacking from her. Good riddance. Now just get Ricard out of there.

Interesting take on humanity
grlym-4684926 November 2021
Periodically in survivor, alliances are made much the same as the prison yard. Race vs race. Or men can women. These are my least favorite episodes or seasons. Regardless, it's interesting to hear how people convince themselves in these dynamics that they are in the right, regardless of what side they are on.

And then there are those that say they have the same convictions, but are really just out fir themselves. While far from my favorite season...it has been an interesting people watching episode.

I still haven't found who I am routing for. Maybe I'll just route for an underdog. Or maybe ricard since he seems to be plying the most clever game. I'm just hoping the show is better next year.

Amazing episode in an amazing season

This season may have started a little bad for some people (not for me) but the last couple episodes have been some of the best that survivor has had in years. This one being one of those. 10/10.

Baby with a Machine Gun

Warning: Spoilers
This was the best episode of the season so far and it isn't even close. This was a normal Survivor episode until after the immunity challenge. Everything was going to plan, the Danny, Deshawn, Liana, Shan, and Ricard alliance were going to stay strong and continue being an alliance. But Ricard has other plans. He goes to the minority and says he wants to vote off Shan, his closest ally. He gets the rest of his votes for majority by telling Deshawn that Shan threw his name out, and by telling Deshawn, he got Danny as well. They had a perfect execution of the blindside, it was one of he best this season, and it was fun to watch. Ricard is ruthless. I don't really like him, but I respect the hell out of him. He is playing a great game and he will win if they don't vote him out.

This episode was great. It is exactly what I want to see from a Survivor episode. I hope the rest of the season has blindsides like this. Can't wait!

Complex emotions lead to interesting dynamics!

Warning: Spoilers
An incredible episode of Survivor, borne out of the relationships forged out on the island! Difficult decisions and complex relationships lead to what will likely be seen as the climactic vote of the season. An all around great episode and a coming out party for two players who are likely to play a big role in the season going forward.

Double standards

What if white people would group toghether and said "lets create a white only alliance"? Jeff would kick them out in a heartbeat. Survivor atay out of race and identity politics.

One of the most unlikeable players ever
estiaan-joubert26 November 2021
The woke stuff is nauseating. Talking about sticking to an alliance "for the culture" is blatantly racist, luckily this mess gets better with Shan who is one of the most unlikeable players to ever be om screen got voted off.

For clarity, she's not unlikeable cause she's conniving or sly, but just a really unlikeable person and a narcissist.

Hope survivor gets back to survivor and past this woke nonsense.

One baby step in the right direction

Warning: Spoilers
Very quickly the episode goes into a challenge. The editing of the obstacle course was very choppy, felt like they lost some of the footage (?!?) and then the puzzle part finishes quickly. Not even a moment to feel any excitement. It was a nice to see the most unlikable player (Ricard), in my opinion, fairly share the pizza. The players back at camp are not very smart though, why would you announce that you would go out look for advantages? Why would you openly share your moves? I miss the sneaking away and trying not to get caught looking for idols and planning blindsides. Openly discuss all plans is surely not helping the show to be exciting, at least for me. They all know the moves that everybody wants to do, because you know we have to be honest and cannot lie to each other's. Perhaps it is just me, but I really don't get it, but still hoping for a turn in the show. The reward scene is also weird, in the past I felt joy seeing the starving outcasts enjoy food, but not today. Anyway, the immunity challenge starts. It feels like the beams are ticker than usual, but maybe because of my dislike for this season I'm seeing things differently. Sadly, the most unlikable player wins for the second time in a row, damn, Ricard will live another day. Finally some tactics come in play, my hopes go up. It seems that players are playing and previously sharing all the decisions/moves with everyone start to bite them in the proverbial ass. Discussions about blindsiding Shan and Liana are held. For a split second, players start to get paranoid. This is the Survivor I like. But 10 minutes out of 10 episodes are not enough to save a below par season. After some blah blah at the tribe council, in a move that we saw coming from a mile away, Shan is blindsided. End.
