"I'm going to miss that girl"
skteosk22 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
A fairly pedestrian episode that seems more interested in moving pieces into place than actually entertaining itself. It's now pretty obvious that Elle is on the way out and it's just a question of finding an excuse for her to leave Lucas behind. His gambling addiction seems to be the one to start with so the twist that Elle won't actually be in New York with him is a nice one.Donna being left behind is a bit more of a disappointment, with Elle gone she doesn't really belong at No.22 despite attempts to turn Paul and Rebecca into parent figures. But her banter with Declan and with Elle and Lucas are the best parts of the episode.

The Lou/Lyn plot line irritates more than entertains, with everyone, including Paul who was trying to bankrupt Lyn not so long ago, teaming up to get Lou back in the coffee shop where he belongs, whether he or Lyn want him there or not.The show's kids make their token one episode appearance this week, hanging around the coffee shop without any parents or guardians in sight.Having Lou move into No.30 is a surprise which could well pay dividends but unfortunately it results in another childish spat between Dan and Libby, two characters who can't do right in each other's eyes at the moment.
