The foster bullying storyline in this episode is incredibly dumb.The whole thing seems to be dependent on Harry being too stupid to tell anyone what's going on and crass incompetence on the part of the foster parents and social workers for not noticing what's going on under their noses or considering that placing him in a room with a brutal thug might not be the best idea.It doesn't help that even though he's well-acted and comes across as a nasty piece of work, Craig is half a foot shorter than Harry and not particularly physically intimidating, so it's hard to imagine him beating him up. The closing scenes require on lazy plot devices to make things work: Toadie and the DHS can't get hold of Harry's foster mum even though she's in the house, Craig seems to know within minutes about the DHS investigation yet no-one else does.
Donna's character continues to degenerate as she twice guilt-trips and pressures people into helping her and dumps India on Lucas.The subtext seems to overwhelm the text in the scene where Declan forgives Donna because he's basically as bad as her.Toadie forcing a group of women on a clearly uncomfortable Lucas so he can enjoy the vicarious attention is pretty unappealing as well.
