Great movie and shows a glimpse of Finland-Germany relationship during WWII

Good and intensive film which I saw at Docpoint Helsinki. Real film footage was combined with dramatized parts in style. Background information regarding war history and destinies of persons shown in film were told in a good way.

Finnish-German co-operation during World War II is very familiar for many. Still the film gave an interesting perspective for this historical truth!

Film is definitely worth of seeing, live footage and still photos in Germany at that time must interest many watchers. Me too.

Personally I am interested in the difficult situation where Finland was at 1940's when trying to find "least bad" approach after Winter War was over. In order to understand that, this film gave one point of view. Even if I haven't lived during WWII I have been keen on that part of history. One of my uncles died in the Winter War and during the Continuation War, three of my uncles fought in the Finnish army, one was wounded.
