Enough for a cheeseburger
Prismark1012 December 2015
Belgian filmmaker Joachim De Smedt filmed his short Xmas Eve in London where various characters and events interact with each other.

We see a dishevelled man asking for money on the tube train in order to buy a cheeseburger and it is not going well for him as he is quid short.

A Burglar breaks into a house in order to steal presents from the Christmas tree and the kid from the house thinks it is the real Santa although confused why he is taking the presents away. The kid learns a life lesson not everything turns up rosy.

A selfish film star is on the way home from the premiere of her movie but she is not happy and the chauffeur of the car sees a figure on the lying on the road. Somewhere on the road there is a pound lying about, just enough for a cheeseburger.

It is well produced short with plenty of night filming and not a sentimental tale of the night before Christmas. However little things happen to the characters which alters their life in small measures.
