This short film is a bizarre spoof of the already ridiculous teen scare PSAs of the '50s and this one is about the 'horrors' of circumsition and it's just nuts but pretty fun stuff, it does have some of those great decayed urban areas and grimy sections of what I think is old '70s New York, and for me it was wonderful to see a number of the actors who would later be in the great demented horror classic Basket Case, including the sadly late Robert Vogel who was so hilarious in the movie as the eternally stressed-out Hotel Broslin manager. This was made when Hennenlotter was a lot younger but it was still very distinctly his work, even with something this early that he directed, he had a kind of in your face visual style and attitude put into the aesthetic and direction of the scenes, he was a director with, if nothing else, such a unique voice. This short was good, it got a little too crazy for me right at the end but it was entertaining, and I'd certainly reccomend it if you're a fan of the sleazy yet endearing style and charm of Frank Hennenlotter, do yourself a favour if you love his work and check this thing out!
