Has potential but still struggling
MariettaGeo28 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The twist that Jocelyn might not be as innocent as she seems is interesting, since it shows a sadistic aspect of her character that was affected by the trauma that her mother inflicted upon her. It's a change from the helpless and vulnerable Jocelyn we usually see.

Tedros' character is yet again extremely unlikable, the sexual scene in the studio between him and Jocelyn is uncomfortable and cringe inducing. Not surprising if you've watched the previous episodes. At this point it's intentional.

Chaim and Destiny still remain to me the best characters, they are rightfully suspicious of Tedros and decide to investigate.

Towards the end, the episode unfortunately starts falling apart. At the house party, Jocelyn is suspicious of Tedros' and Dyanne's relationship (it has been implied that they have a sexual relationship). She then calls her ex and has sex with him, (as to make Tedros mad and jealous? I don't know because she seems to still have feelings for him). Later, Xander brought a girl with him and asked Jocelyn's ex to take photos with her( pretty sure Tedros made them do that to make Jocelyn's ex look bad). It all felt really rushed, clichéd and all over the place. The last sex scene was also pretty dragged out for some reason.

That was INTENSE
funnycommentor27 June 2023
First of all, the plot of episode 4 was very interesting and kinda different than the previous episodes. The storyline was kinda well-written, even though there are still many problematic parts during the TV show. The characters are still very interesting and amazingly well-developed, but most of them aren't really likeable... The filming location of of episode 4 was mainly just Jocelyn's mansion. The acting on episode 4 was as good as the previous episode's acting (especially, Lily Rose Depp's acting). In my opinion, probably the best thing about that TV show it's definitely the soundtrack, because most of the songs are super catchy. Moreover, that was a really intense, chaotic and shocking episode, because there were too many plot twists and most of them were definitely unpredictable. The ending scene was definitely unexpected and it was a MESS. Overall, it was a kinda enjoyable episode, full of plot twists and I'm definitely looking forward for the last episode..!

It become weird
AvionPrince1629 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So we still try to know if Tedros is really a guy that we can count on him or not but they try to make us confused in a weird way: we have that scenes where Tedros torture Xander and to be honest the situation become ridiculous: all that because of a few lies? Its non sense and i didnt really get into it. Tedros lack of credibility in my opinion and the performance of the Weekend get me out of the character sadly.

We have the talk about Jocelyn's mother and that she confess to her fans abou that.

We had also that side story of Dyanne and that we can feel a little bit jealousy of Jocelyn: but she asked the permission to perform the album instead of Jocelyne.

We have also again the nudity of Jocelyn and that she call her ex boyfriend.

The scene with Tedros and the Weeknd was kind of weird and the brutal change of Jocelyn that she go directly have sex with her ex its kind of weird and we can immediately see what will coming next: it will have a jealousy thing between Jocelyn and Tedros and we see that the Ex get shoot by Xander with one of his girl and we can clearly predict what they want to do: create rumors but its not sure but it is pretty predictable sadly. I will see more before juging.

So yeah its kind of disappointed and they seem to rushed a little bit in some scenes and Tedros character become ridiculous: ok they talk about him like he was in prison and stuff and with the problem with justice with his ex but it really weird how they make him act sometimes and its not really believable in my opinion. It lack of direction maybe but yeah the episode was more superficial and feel a little bit forced in some scenes.

the straw that broke the camels back
aboalhyjaa26 June 2023
I have been defending this show since day one, even with the unnecessary explicit scenes, bad acting and performances especially by the weekend and most importantly not having a good storytelling at all, just because I believed there is a story to tell and the last episode showed us that there might be but as we all saw there is no episode six and yet nothing is actually happening. Not to mention the cringe of Tedros especially when he was waiting in the closet. The way there have been some torture and still its okay? This show surprised us even more with this stupid script. Ive been wanting to write a professional review but i just cant with how long the episode was yet how there's no events actually happening.

Shock value is sooo over. What a dumpster fire.
cindyrellaexists27 June 2023
The dialog is so boring. This is creative? It's as if it was written by someone who wanted to get back at Johnny Depp by exploiting his daughter in this lame attempt to be provocative, actual borderline porn wanna be drama. Whyyyyyy?

Whyyyy did Lily do this? Oh and 'The Weekend'? Please take at least one acting class. The story and every single character falls way below expectations. Oh and the black Lincoln with suicide doors is way to classy of a vehicle to be transporting those trash characters.

I can't believe HBO went along with this crap. I want my hour back. What a total waste of time.

Truly disturbing
uuikgq27 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I don't even know where to begin. This episode was very disturbing compared to the first three. This show makes me physically cringe the whole time watching it.

In one part of the episode, Tedros wants Jocelyn to relax and let loose while recording a new song in front of a couple of people. Well unexpectedly, he begins to finger her and she starts orgasming while recording her song, in front of everyone. It was so raunchy to watch.

Oh, and Tedros puts a shock collar on Xander and is interrogating him and trying to get him to stop lying about his and Jocelyn's past with her mother. It was hard to watch, as Xander was screaming and crying for help. Later in the episode, Xander is seen to have wet himself and he's tied up.

I honestly can't remember what else happened in the episode but just know it's pretty disgusting. Ew.

It's not the best but...

Warning: Spoilers
The show isn't the greatest but it still has some features to keep you interested in the storyline. Between Dyanne trying to take "World Class Sinner" and the whole Tedros story, it's an interesting show. This episode dives deep into the relationship of Tedros and Jocelyn is and how crazy everything is just getting. Personally, The Weeknd's music is also carrying the show itself. Overall, it's not "Succession" or "Breaking Bad" or "Stranger Things", but it's still good. And these reviews aren't even bots so wtf are people on😭... People are just following what others are saying about the show and don't even try it but I say try it. It's not for everyone but I like it. Also it does not promote "rape culture."
